he Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Applications Technology Integration team is responsible for all aspects of our application’s technology stack. The stack centres around the Oracle Database and Oracle Fusion Middleware, and is deployed across the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Cloud@Customer and on premises. You will be managing and leading the Oracle EBS Database Architecture team. The team has a broad range of responsibilities that includes developing solutions for EBS Database upgrades, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery. The team’s responsibilities also include assessing the very latest Database releases, features and services on offer, including Oracle Autonomous. An essential part of your role will be collaborating with other teams to deliver the highest quality customer solutions.
Brief Description
You will be working in a world class team to provide enterprise-wide solutions. You will need extensive technical expertise with Oracle RAC and standby systems, especially with Oracle Database Administration, including database design, coding, and database production support. You will need to provide accurate and creative solutions to system problems.
Work on diverse set of Oracle Databases including OCI, Exadata Cloud at Customer and Autonomous databases.

Job Requirements
As a technical expert, you will be instrumental in researching, evaluating, testing, recommending, and planning the implementation of new versions and new features of the Oracle database and database tools. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the team delivery on timeliness, content and quality of the deliverables. You will leading a team of highly skilled database administrators who do state of the art R&D and possess highest level of technical skills. You should be able to provide team with direction, technical leadership and be able to enhance their individual and collective performance.
As this is a techno-managerial position, you should possess strong skills in both. You will have at least 5 years of technical experience supporting the Oracle database as a DBA (Apps) or system designer, and have extensive knowledge of Oracle RAC, backup methods, and Oracle Data Guard. you should also have at least 4 years of managerial experience in a similar environment.

Technical
Extensive understanding and experience of the Oracle Database architecture and it's features

A good understanding of a programming language like shell scripting, Java, PLSQL, SQL
Ability to evaluate new database features and versions
Knowledge and Experience of the Oracle Cloud preferred but not essential
Oracle E-Business Suite technology stack experience preferred but not essential.
Following skills are desirable and would be a definite plus for aspiring candidate:
Currently working in a product company as a senior manager or an equivalent role/
Good skills on the Oracle E-Business Suite Application tier including Fusion Middleware
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux-based platforms.
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
