Position: Assistant Manager

Flipkart is a leading e-commerce company committed to delivering Superior Last Mile to its customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our Central City Logistics supply chain team as an Assistant Manager.

 

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient management of our supply chain operations. The primary focus of this role will be on monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to imperfection and return to origin (RTO). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess a passion for optimizing processes to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Return to Origin (RTO) Process:

  • Track and assess the RTO rate for products returned to the origin due to various supply chain reasons.
  • Work closely with the design, product, quality, analytics and operations teams to deepdive and build action plans to reduce customer pain.
  • Work on pilot initiatives to minimize RTO rates and optimize the current processes with scalable cost-effective solutions.

Program Management Imperfection KPI:

  • Track and analyze the rate of imperfections in the supply chain process across the last mile supply chain network pan-India.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and reduce imperfection rates.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present KPI performance and trends to leadership.
  • Provide actionable insights to the supply chain team and management for informed decision-making.
  • Presenting key insights and progress in weekly review meetings to update leadership on KPI performance and improvement initiatives.

Job Description:   Assistant Manager - Anti Corruption L2 Monitoring Team You are responsible for: ● Day-to-day management, execution and oversight of key components of the Anti-Corruption Compliance program for FK Group. ● Actively contributes to the development and implementation of the anti-corruption training program including the development of training content, delivery of training sessions and tracking/reporting of training completion. ● Helps, builds strategic relationships with various business units; identifying and communicating possible risks associated with anti-corruption non-compliance; and maintaining open lines of communication at various levels. ● Assist with the designing and the implementation of Anti-Corruption Continuous Improvement (ACCI) initiatives and programs. ● Execution of the Flipkart Group ACCI Monitoring Plans using the CIR (Continuous Improvement Review) tools and techniques in all Finance departments and Facilities within the Flipkart Group. ● Understanding and identifying the root cause for non-compliance and agreeing on and formulating remedial action to reduce risks and financial exposure. ● Ensure the timely execution of the quarterly Monitoring Plans. Assist in developing remediation steps and action plans to correct deficiencies identified as a result of the CIR process.Prepare reports and presentations with respect to reviewing findings, the levels of compliance and opportunities for further improvement. ● Ensure there are efficient and continually improved AC and ACCI initiatives. ● Identify compliance risks by measuring actual Financial Control processes against local and Global Anti-Corruption frameworks. ● Identify, communicate and monitor the execution of compliance best practices. ● Review compliance monitoring results to determine any trends or areas for improvement.   To succeed in this role, you should have the following: ● Chartered Accountant or Law Graduate or MBA finance with minimum 5 years of relevant experience of working on compliance areas including Anti-corruption compliance, financial internal controls, Internal Audit experience with special knowledge of auditing financial transactions, FCPA and Anti-corruption laws. ● Certifications like Certified Fraud Examiner or Certified Internal Auditor would be preferred. ● Experience in E-commerce / Retail with respect to managing a Finance, Risk or Compliance role would be preferable. ● Demonstrable verbal and written fluency in English. Superior communication skills, including the ability to communicate in writing effectively and efficiently and orally. ● Demonstrable computer literacy with specific ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel,internet, and internet-based applications. Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage. ● Self-motivated with high energy and personal integrity.
