Experience:
Deep experience of production support in banking domain leading support for critical business portfolios
• With 12+ years of total experience including 24x7 production support experience of 5+ years in lead capacity
• Technical know how on monitoring tools & technology stack such as AppDynamics, splunk, control-M, Java technologies, Unix and cloud environments
• Ability to manage both IT and Business stakeholders
• Knowledge of banking applications support, infra support and Cloud operations from support stand-point
• Problem solving attitude
• Hands on experience on the Support Operations
• Support Program execution with distributed teams
• Governance and reporting
• Key SPOC for all IT and Business stakeholders involved in Production Support
• alert monitoring and handling job failures
• Implementation of industry best practices for project deliveries
• Hands on experience in trouble shooting Java Applications deployed on any of the industry standard Front end Application Servers such as IBM WAS, IBM WPS, JBoss, Tomcat, AWS
• Solid understanding of Linux / Java / LDAP / Oracle / MQ / SSL handshake / Networks - DNS, Load balancers, Webservers / Micro services
• Good to have - understanding of distributed architecture
Monitoring tools - App Dynamics, Splunk (intermediate to expert level , not basic)
Experience in any ticketing Tool - we use Service Now.
• Banking domain knowledge more so in retail banking online and mobile application – all roles. E.g. a telecom domain experience will have a steeper learning curve
• Excellent Communication skills – as mentioned before : senior engineers and shift lead must be able to - handle crisis calls and post meaningful updates on different forums/channels. Entire team should be able to swiftly respond to queries.
