Job Description

Xiaomi is looking for industrial trainee in indirect tax GST division. Trainee will play key role in assistance of implementing process improvement and drive positive change across GST compliance with respect to documentation and audits.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Assisting in handling the GST compliances for all the GSTINs of Xiaomi

• Assisting in maintaining input tax credit register / import register / RCM register and take necessary actions on eligibility of input tax credit

• Assisting in drafting replies to the notices/SCN, appearing before the authorities Review GSTR-2B & GSTR-6A reconciliations with books of accounts and follow-up with vendors in case of non-reporting of Xiaomi’s transaction in their GSTR-1 / mismatch in reporting

• Assisting in preparing the reconciliations of GST returns with tax accounts maintained in books of accounts on monthly basis

• Assisting in preparations of GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C

Qualifications:

• CA Articleship in GST

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Excellent analytical skills, solid aptitude for information technology

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
