Job Description
• Responsible for 24*7 Mainframe Batch Monitoring for non-production environment
• Team works in 3 shifts (IST) –6 AM - 3 PM Morning, 2 PM to 11 PM afternoon, 10 PM to 7 AM Night.
• Mainframe JCL Job Operations, REXX/CICS/VSAM/COBOL/DB2/IMS –
• 3+ years of 24*7 Support project experience is a MUST.
• Min 2-years of proven team lead experience who can unite and inspire team to achieve shared vision.
• Must be familiar with project management software and processes – excel, ppt, Jira, Confluence, HP ALM, qTest/HP QC etc.
• Must be self-motivated and proactive individual who strives to find solutions to technical and team problems.
• Own below areas:
• Team productivity Tracking, Governance & Reporting
• Client communication
• Ensuring Quality and On time services (abend resolution, defects etc.)
• Compliance with KPI/Metric chalked out in SoW.
• Escalation Management.
• Continuous improvement in quality, automating manual tasks, streamlining processes and technical innovation and critical thinking.
• Problem solving – hands on wherever the team is stuck and unable/delayed in reaching a solution.
• Works shoulder to shoulder with team as needed on ground-up level tasks if need be.
• Lead by example and Vision - Provide thought leadership, guidance & grooms team members.
• Contributes to account growth goals & strategic thinking, Roadmap for Managed services, Opportunities & Risks & Team expansion.
