We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Data Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting robust quantitative and qualitative analysis, interpreting large volumes of data, and providing key insights to clients. You should have domain depth in one or more categories like snacks, beverages, plant-based products, alcoholic beverages, etc. You should also have a strong understanding of how FMCG companies bring new innovation to market and excellent communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Data Analysis: 
    1. Conduct robust quantitative and qualitative analysis to a high standard.
    2. Ability to interpret large volumes of data to distill key insights
    3. Is able to guide clients on how to replicate the same from the platform
  2. Category Expertise
    1. You are expected to have domain depth in one or more of the categories like snacks, beverages, plant based products, alcoholic beverages, RTD, RTE, Personal Care, Baby Care, Pet care etc.
    2. You are expected to understand how FMCG companies bring new innovation and renovation to market along with deep understanding of market dynamics
  3. Reporting Key Insights and Storytelling:
    1. Structure analysis to answer client’s key questions
    2. Contextualize findings using client and category knowledge
  4. Domain Understanding:
    1.  Understands the data process from data curation to output and is able to provide domain inputs to build and execute the product roadmap
  5. Cross-functional Project Management
    1. Work with the team of insights consultants, sales, data scientists and developers to support the timely execution of projects

Team Management

  1. Guide team to deliver client projects on time and based on clients requirements
  2. Mentor and training other team members on use case delivery as product expert

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience of 5-10 years in Consumer Insights or Brand Management
  • Relevant experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis 
  • Interest in product innovation and the potential of new technology 
  • Truly self-motivated and hands-on leader – with a proven track record of over-achieving in a high growth environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to express thinking coherently
  • Candidates with a Master's degree 

 

IDEAL

  • Previous experience in the FMCG industry in Brand or Consumer Insights
  • Experience in F&B category, Beauty category experience a plus
