Job summary
As Financial Analyst you provide financial support and/or analysis in budgeting, planning, business processes and/or reporting to your senior finance colleagues.
You will perform economic research and studies and financial modeling to help future business planning decisions and create reports and summaries as required by corporate procedure or compliance regulations.
You will interface with cross-functional peers and managers and have an opportunity to contribute across various business challenges. You will have the opportunity to build customer service and financial analysis skills as you contribute directly to department goals and deliverables.
Essential Functions:
The Financial Analysts role has responsibility for a wide range of financial support and analysis tasks. You will help to ensure that departmental objectives and project deadlines are met. The essential functions of the department include:
• Prepare and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making.
• Participate in projects related to financial systems or business processes.
• Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans,, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
• Work with cross-functional groups to provide technical support to business units including:
a. Forecasting and budgeting of Opex, Headcount, Bookings and Margin
b. Managing Revenue Forecast & Revenue reserves.
c. Month end Close & Variance analysis
d. Standard and ad hoc reporting
Job requirements

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

• Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Tableau
Education
• The types of tasks this individual is responsible for are well defined and utilize and build understanding of standard principles and practices within a team environment.
• This individual interacts primarily with their direct manager and the direct Finance team members on assigned projects and may communicate with employees in other functions as required.
• Regular and detailed direction is provided, as well as on-going review of activities and priorities.
• The ideal candidate will be an important contributor to team projects.
• Ideally 2-4 years working experience.
• CA, CMA, CFA, MBA Finance (Reputed University)
