Job description 

Role –Territory Account Manager

Juniper is seeking a seasoned, results-oriented and high-energy Territory Account Manager to spearhead new sales engagements in the West India territory. This role requires customer engagements as well as close collaboration with Juniper strategic partners. 

In this role you will be a key contributor in an agile, high-velocity team, driving the expansion of the Juniper business across a territory with significant white-space, mid-market and for potential for growth. Your primary objective will be to create and execute a dynamic sales plan that centers around driving the adoption of Juniper products and services. Your focus will be on surpassing quarterly and annual revenue quotas while ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all Juniper sales and delivery activities.

You will take charge of developing and implementing strategic commercial opportunity plans, aiming for widespread deployment of Juniper products and services across enterprises. Building and nurturing executive relationships with key decision-makers and influencers will be instrumental in leveraging these connections during the sales process. This will significantly contribute to securing bids, proposals, RFI/RFPs, and Statements of Work.

Ultimately, your negotiation skills will play a crucial role in achieving win/win outcomes with clients, fostering enduring, value-based relationships built on trust.

As a high-energy Hunter, you will excel in this role by proactively seeking out new sales opportunities, embracing challenges, and exhibiting a relentless drive to achieve exceptional results.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the development and delivery of the commercial business development strategy across a defined geographical patch, successfully position Juniper’s global, strategy and architecture.  Commercial is defined as ‘non-named’ customers.
  • Achieve agreed quarterly and annual sales goals, contributing to overall profitability, success, and positive image of Juniper in the marketplace.
  • Generate commercial business opportunities, managing the sales process through to closure of the sale, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecasting pipeline.
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients, identifying new sales avenues/areas in order to fulfill revenue objectives, while also managing customer satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain commercial territory, opportunity plans to assist with developing and securing new business.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support the commercial business development strategy.
  • Work closely with Juniper’s partners and distributors community to create pipeline through both direct and indirect engagements.
