Responsibilities

• Synthesize and abstract market requirements for CADWorx into Business Themes, Epics and User Stories that capture and articulate the requirements for research and development in terms of the end user’s capabilities and benefits.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility and prepare Conceptual Designs that address the requirements in the context of the system architecture – in IT systems terms.
• Guide the development, review, certification, and support experts within an agile/SAFe development environment to ensure that requirements and concepts are understood, client expectations are met, and requirements are achievable and ultimately delivered.
• Consult with the field organization and customers about software system design and usability. Provide input to, and feedback on, the processes of software system testing and validation, programming, and documentation.
• Set priorities and provide benefits content for marketing programs.
• Support strategic client sales.
• Attend user conferences, regional sales meetings etc. to present Hexagon ALI strategies in the above product areas.
• Will prepare and present Webinars / Marketing collaterals etc. to promote Hexagon ALI product direction.
• Work alongside with PSE and other SMEs to facilitate and harmonize product direction.
• Facilitate Customer engagement in Product Planning, Scrum Meetings, and sprint reviews.
• Will collaborate with other product owners in other areas like Piping and Structural Analysis applications.

Educational Qualifications

Engineering Degree (Civil/Structural Engineering preferred)

Overview

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking Senior Product Owner for CADWorx within CAS application group. The Product Owner will work with PSE team, application users, field sales, development, marketing, and other domain / subject matter experts (SMEs) to define and manage R&D and marketing strategic priorities

Skills Required

Essential:

• Strong understanding of Engineering Domain(Oil & Gas, Marine and EPC) including business work / construction processes
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a product through its lifecycle
• Hands on experience in generic project implementation/ construction, delivery and Plant Construction knowledge.
• Strong communication / negotiation skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and willing to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of power, process or marine facilities – either from an engineering or owner operator perspective.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment

Desirable:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC and/or Owner Operator.
• Experience with CADWorx preferred
• Experience in Capital projects working for O/O or EPC.
• Exposure to software development processes like Agile, Scrum etc.
• Exposure to Hexagon internal systems / People and processes.
