We are looking for hardcore techies who can help build and evolve the Access platform to scale the Adobe business to twice its current customer base in 2 years, and so with outstanding scalability, resilience and flexibility which allows it to be used across all key geographies!

What you'll Do

  • You will be a developer who will work with product managers and others who provide technical or business inputs to understand the requirements, architect a solution and build it for use
  • Conceptualization of product design, estimation, risk analysis, development and debugging
  • Work collaboratively with a global team of engineers, product management and design to create a platform that scales to billions of requests every day to enable usage of over hundreds of apps and services.
  • Owns development for features of medium to large complexity, and apply in-depth knowledge to turn requirements into architectural and feature specs.
  • Contribute extensively in the analysis, design, prototype and implementation of new features and improving existing ones.
  • Address broad architecture and design issues of existing/future products or technologies and provide strategic direction in evaluating new technologies.
  • Interface with product management and Engineering leads to evaluate and determine new features to be added.
  • Should be a proactive self-starter and fast learner who can develop methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
  • Specialist on one or more platforms and knowledgeable of cross-platform issues and customer requirements. Should contribute significantly towards the development and application of advanced concepts, technologies and expertise within the team.
  • Ensure high quality code and related documentation

 

What you need to succeed

  • B.Tech/M.Tech from a premier institute with 2 to 4 years of hands on design / development experience in software development, preferably in a product development organization.
  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Proficient in data structures and algorithms.
  • Hands on experience with REST APIs and message pub/sub model.
  • Deep knowledge of server-side technologies and familiarity with frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, AWS, Docker, REST, AngularJS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of software fundamentals including design & analysis of algorithms, data structure design, and implementation, documentation, and unit testing.
  • Good understanding of object oriented design and knowledge of product life cycles and associated issues.
  • Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design and performance.
  • Ability to work efficiently, proactively and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Be an excellent teammate with good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with a global team across India, Europe and the USA

We are looking for engineers with experience in building control plane components for public cloud services. You have experience with the design of major features and launching them into production. You’ve built and operated high-scale public cloud services and have deep understanding of control plane architecture. You work on most projects and tasks independently and extend technical leadership to development teams. In this role, you will enable development teams by driving design of major service components, working with engineering managers and TPMs, and providing direct guidance to more junior team members. You are able to go from high level system design, writing architectural documentation and driving engineering peer reviews to hands-on prototyping, code reviews and project bootstrapping. You are technically strong and get a lot done. You can balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements. Good understanding of Linux or desire to learn Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure) Experience driving security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers Experience and understanding of multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules FedRAMP, PCI DSS, or similar compliance and auditing experience Expertise in applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques to develop security solutions Responsibilities As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
