Job Description

As a second line of defense for the Finance function, the FRM team is responsible for testing and reporting effectiveness of internal controls for all the Wipro entities across the globe. The team is responsible for process audits, SOX- Management testing, risk assessment and monitoring, identification of any potential/emerging business risks, investigations, continuous transaction monitoring etc.


Roles & Responsibilities:
 

  1. Preparation of audit plan, work program, review of the work done by the team and discussion with Senior Management.
  2. Monitor the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control, accuracy and completeness of reporting, compliance with laws and regulations and timely remediation of deficiencies.
  3. Perform ad hoc special projects/management reviews/ investigation.
  4. Driving process automation initiatives.
  5. Good experience of SAP and MS office.
  6. Getting dashboards/presentations prepared for senior management reviews and keeping them updated on the highlights/lowlights.
  7. Expected to possess good knowledge of international financial reporting standards and auditing standards.

Additional skill sets required:

  1. Should have good attention for details, good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  2. Ability to work in high pressure environments and deliver high quality work.
  3. Should be self motivated and should be able to drive the team towards excellence by continuous training and guidance


Qualifications:
 

10+ years of experience in internal audit/SOX/ external audit/forensic with Big 4/ large multinationals. The candidate should have led a team of 4-5 members in their previous roles.
