Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter person with experience in implementing ITOM suite of applications in the SITA Service Gateway environment.
The candidate may also have similar experience with related technology services and can deliver excellent results with minimal supervision.
The candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have a strong attention to detail, and possess maturity, professionalism, and judgment.
Primary Tasks
The candidate will work closely with customers, internal and external as well as other team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies. Gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements.
• Event Management experience with other third-party applications via integration.
• Use tag – based discovery in service mapping.
• Build Tag based Service maps for Cloud Environments.
• Implement Event management for Cloud Environments.
• Perform any ServiceNow development, testing and integration for the changes/developments assigned by SITA
• Source code in a designated repository
• Preparation, execution and reporting of Test cases, Test case results & evidence.
• Update stories to track development.
• Knowledge Transfer to Steady State Team of all new developments for ITOM
• Ensuring all requirements are complete, accurate and agreed.
• All requirements will be captured and processed in a centralized repository with the capability to support basic SDLC fields and workflow.
• All architectural and design decisions regarding the future developments will need to be approved by SITA IS to maintain platform upgradeability and support.
• All user acceptance testing will validate alignment of the developed solution with the documented and approved business requirements.
• Provide Demo sessions and Train the Trainer sessions for users. Required Skills • ServiceNow ITOM Technical expertise
• Solution Design
• Coding in ServiceNow. Familiar with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and protocols like WMI, SSH, SNMP and Networking and database administration.
• Hands-on experience in configuration and customization of ServiceNow instances
• Experience in supporting and troubleshooting ServiceNow Workflows, involving multiple external systems and tools.
