JOB DESCRIPTION

What you’ll be doing


Supporting WNB and generating WNB to support growth aspirations:
•    Drive delivery plans and costs in support of WNB asks providing inputs to RFP responses as required.
•    Presenting MSP and DSF (Digital Services Framework) to internal and external stakeholders as directed in support of generating new business and marketing our Units capabilities and offerings to customers

 Delivery Lead (risks & issue, management): 
•    Establishing and owning IT contract and Programme delivery plans (and all associated required Delivery Governance, scope mgt, risk logs/finance planning, Milestones etc) between Global Business and  the external Customer.
•    Ensuring all contract IT obligations are met and signed off by required stakeholders internally and externally and any adherence to required KPIs/SLAs etc
•    lead teams of architects and technical professionals and support teams and/or leadership of cross divisional, matrix and virtual teams to deliver Customers and Contracts business outcomes
Transformation / Improvement Contracts Delivery:
•    Constantly seek and identify via Collaboration and innovative thinking with our Technology Teams opportunities to enhance our customers delivery experience via reducing delivery leadtimes or efficiency savings
 

Experience Required

•    A strong track record and experience in leading successful delivery of IT contracts and demonstrable able evidence of leadership of direct or virtual teams (mobilisation of resources, driving teams with support process production) with a clear understanding of business outcomes achieved - MANDATORY
•    Experience of leading Major Projects/Programme deliveries with medium/Long terms outcomes/business benefits, financials, resource mgt (internal and 3rd party) – typically gained with circa 5+ yrs experience) - MANDATORY
•    Good knowledge on BT Global OSS/BSS ecosystem and BTs L2C and T2R tooling suite especially in the Service Delivery space - MANDATORY
•    Project management skills and experience of improving delivery outcomes in technology projects and challenging the status quo, where appropriate.
•    Experience of working across a wide range of internal and external business and technology stakeholders to align plans and objectives for BT and the Customer and deliver business outcomes
•    Experience in building and maintaining strong director level relationships.
•    Business, Financial and Technical expert knowledge to enable the best delivery experience for our customers and to enable/drive decisions where needed at relevant stages of the delivery lifecycle.
•    Manage budget independently and able to negotiate cost with internal and external partners to enable delivery efficiencies for customers 
•    Made decisions in ambiguous situations using incomplete information or differing opinions (e.g. unclear deliverables)
•    Actively participate in strategy setting sessions and proactively feeding back key information from delivery to the strategy teams as identified
•    Commits to and supports shared agendas across business boundaries to ensure the designs and components produced, are to the necessary quality gate level, aligned from requirement to transition into operational support.
•    Takes charge of own development and that of own / wider team to ensure skills meet current and emerging requirements whilst meeting project commitments. Acts as a role model for self-development evidenced through progress made on own PDP

The Project Lead is an essential member of the core project team responsible for project delivery of clinical studies to meet contractual requirements in accordance with SOPs, policies and practices. Clinical Project Management is focused on project delivery, productivity and quality resulting in strong financial performance and customer satisfaction.
