CONTENT AND SOCIAL STRATEGY DIRECTOR

 

The purpose of this role is to lead a future focused Entertainment / Content strategy team helping establish the Dentsu Creative ‘Content Practice’ as one of the most progressive content agencies in our field. We will do this by focusing on our unique dentsu creative capabilities that mean we deliver both brilliant and effective creative work. And bringing measurable value for our clients and beyond.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Content strategy & Leadership

Lead on the delivery of a new Connected Content proposition – human-centric, culturally in tune, channel and data/performance-led

Developing content and social strategies for brands for both single, multi-channel programmes from the vision to the impact

Working with the Insight Teams at dentsu to continually review and enhance our suite of content insight tools and processes / to always add value

Always being ahead / on top of content, social and culture trends and sharing.

Leading opportunities for growth on clients and new business / build strategy revenue​.

Representing content and social as part of the wider strategy ‘family’.

 

Content Marketing Produces /Process​

Shape a set of strategy ‘products’ that help our clients create the best content experiences for their audiences, their brand, business.​

Continue to build out content and social strategic frameworks for clients and internally. ​

Work across One dentsu to grow our strategy offering / credibility inside and out.​

 

Effectiveness and outcomes

Evolving measurement  frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of content programmes / ROI​ / content as a ‘force for good’ impact assessments.

Explore new ways of evaluation in line with new platforms and tends to understand and communicate the value of what we do..​

 

Innovation

To provide thought-leadership for clients and dentsu​

Lead on Innovation – developing workshops and strategy sessions to keep ahead / lead the industry

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Previous experience in Senior Strategy role – across content, social and brand
  • Content strategy / digital marketing expertise​
  • Understands data, analytics. Insight and data tools / sources​
  • Content marketing expertise and a clear understanding of the potential for content and social as part of the bigger customer journey / brand experience
  • Curious mindset and bigger picture thinker​
  • Flair for presenting and exciting clients
  • A good understanding of content marketing tools and end to end process including search/ Optimisation across owned / paid / earned​
  • Brand and business – ability to work with senior level clients, and bring expertise to the table
