Your main goals Business Consulting Work with a Business Consultant and (or) Solution Architect to confirm solutions which address identified customer pains and present them in a clear and comprehensive way. Sales Support Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the sales process: qualifying opportunities, providing input in proposal generation and resource estimation, assess technical risks, guide scope definition. Assist in developing sales support material which can be used by European front offices. Present technology or solutions during customer/sales events or seminars. Project Execution and Support Be the adviser for project execution within your field of expertise and be directly linked with Project Manager and/or Project Lead. Participate in and lead client support activities such as: site survey; feed study; fix / support call resolution; system modifications and training. Coordinate internal knowledge transfer - undertake regular knowledge updates, using workshops where appropriate, to the European Engineering team with respect to their specialist fields. Process, Product & Solution Improvement Identify possible improvements to the sales and project execution processes, based on analysis of the completed projects or sales cycles. When encountered, highlight potential improvements in the Emerson products used. Assist in crafting standard solutions and in developing implementation capability for solutions based on the supported technology within the organization. Business Development Identify and produce marketing material based on work performed such as quantified business results for projects undertaken. Manage relationships with key third parties, such as vendors of complementary technologies. What you need to get started Degree in an engineering/IT related field; Experience (5 years or more) working with network architecture, automation, DCS, and field implementation; Extensive knowledge on Cybersecurity, network infrastructure and administration, wireless technology. Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA or higher with a specialization or certification on Cybersecurity such as GIAC GICSP or ISA/IEC 62443 are very helpful. Detailed technical knowledge in any of the key areas: virtualization, operating systems, Active Directory, Patch Management, Backup and Recovery, firewalls, network monitoring, cloud computing, programming software, Wireless. Good communication/presentation skills and ability to maintain direct contact with clients; Proficient English (verbal and written); additional languages are beneficial. Willingness to travel with European focus mainly for shorter periods (up to 50%) is required
