We are looking for an experienced Apache Airflow developer with a background in scheduling. As a developer, your responsibilities will include building, maintaining, monitoring, and orchestrating workflows in Airflow. You will also be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of the application. In addition, you will migrate workflows from other workload automation tools like BMC Control-M or crontab to Airflow. As part of your role, you will provide workload automation solutions on hybrid cloud platforms. This position requires expertise in Python, experience in AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes, a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL tools, data pipelines, and databases, as well as experience working in a SQL environment. Proficiency in automation tools like Jenkins and knowledge of BMC Control-M would be beneficial.

What will you do?

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, monitor, and orchestrate workflows as per requirement in Airflow and control-m.
     
  • Ensure the availability and performance of application.
     
  • Manage and support Airflow application issues end to end.
     
  • Migrate workflows from other workload automation tool like, BMC Control-m or crontab to Airflow.
     
  • Provide Workload automation solution on hybrid cloud.

 

Preferred Skills

  • 4+ Years of industrial experience as an Apache Airflow developer with scheduling background
     
  • Expertise in python
     
  • Experience in AWS, GCP and Kubernetes
     
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concept, ETL Tools and Data pipeline and database
     
  • Experience working on SQL environment
     
  • Proficiency in Automation tool like Jenkins
     
  • Good to have knowledge of Workload automation tool BMC Control-M

We are looking for a candidate with excellent knowledge and experience in Solaris Build. You will be responsible for CDOM and LDOM Installation, Solaris 10 and 11 administration tasks, troubleshooting UNIX infra support, Live upgradation and patching activities. Good understanding of other UNIX flavors like Linux, HPUX & AIX is preferred. Strong scripting skills in Ansible, Shell, and Python are required. Knowledge of Veritas Cluster and Volume Manager, networking, and storage technology is also essential. Previous experience with storage migration and cluster upgradation is highly desirable.
