As a Project Engineer, you will be designing project in compliance with applicable engineering standards and customer specifications. You will provide best cost optimized and feasible solutions in line with the contract requirements and customer specifications.

 

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing the design of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product requirements.
  • Reviewing contract documentation and customer specifications, to provide best cost optimized and feasible solutions.
  • Creating detailed design documentation for machine monitoring, protection, and conditioning management systems.
  • Interacting frequently with customers, suppliers, and cross functional teams.
  • Providing timely communications on significant issues or developments.
  • Assuring project execution in accordance with the cost allocations that are budgeted.
  • Leading customer witness testing of the designed systems
  • Participating on organizational initiatives and cost control initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have bachelors in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control / Electronics with minimum 2 years of professional experience
  • Have Excellent written and spoken communication in English, with demonstrated capability to structure and write technical material
  • Have proven experience with document layout, formatting, and editing
  • Good project engineering management and workflow co-ordination skills and Strong analytical, technical writing, and organizational skills
  • Have a knowledge of rotating machinery operation and controls systems
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision requirement; able to work independently; ability to prioritize, organize work and meet deadlines.
  • Have a knowledge of Bently Nevada machinery protection and management systems products and services
  • Have an experience in Project Engineering / Testing Engineer / Field / Maintenance experience / Condition Monitoring Engineer (working with instrumentation, control systems) in energy and/or oil & gas environment or relevant field will be an added advantage
  • Have a strong technical aptitude, interpersonal and leadership skills and familiarity with industrial agency approvals
  • Have a strong computer and network skills with familiarity of MS office products and ability to work under schedule pressure, Multitask. Sense of accountability etc.
