JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview

We are looking for an 3-4 Years Test Engineers with a strong in creating Test design, Test cases, with extensive experience in Manual, System and Functional Testing. Any one automaton tool experience will be a value add. The engineer will focus on developing User Story, Test Scenario, Test Cases, Test Execution, Test Report Generation, Bug Management and Automation scripts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Review of the Test cases and create Test Scenarios.
  • Writing Manual Test cases for the application against the requirements.
  • Handling the testing project independently and reports to the Team lead.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Designing Test cases and executing the Test Cases.
  • Updating RTM and Testcases periodically.
  • Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
  • Verifying test result and logging defect in the tool.
  • Executing the automation regression suites & Sanity test cases against each build released.

Skills and Experience

  • Must have 3+ years of Manual Testing experience in Embedded Systems.
  • Expertise in Functional and System Testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Should have experience in Regression Testing.
  • Should have experience in any code repository like, SVN, Git etc..
  • Should have experience in Test Script Creation & Execution
  • Designing Test cases and updating the same using Azure Test Plan.
  • Experience in handling the LAB Equipments for the Embedded Devices.
  • Strong hands-on in Product testing with UI.
  • Executing the Manual and automation regression suites & Sanity test cases against each build released.
  • Writing Automation Regression scripts for the application against the existing manual test cases for all the modules.
  • Should have experience in using serial and ethernet protocol analysers.
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate consistent (and sustainable) application of problem solving and analytical skills.
