JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview

We are Looking for experienced PCB designer to design the multi-Layer PCB Boards using an Altium Tool.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for PCB design of complex multilayer, high power, high voltage, high speed digital, RF and analog boards
• Creating schematics from engineering input.
• Translates input from electronics and mechanical design engineers into detailed PCB layout.
• Ensure design meets design parameters, engineering, assembly and fabrication standards and guidelines.
• Generate PCB design release packages, i.e. Gerber files, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, Panel drawing etc.
• Review and ensure all parts conform to IPC, manufacturer, and company standards.
• Work closely with Client and cross-functional teams and ensure to meet the project deadlines.
• Responsible for preparation and implementing checklists for layout and design release.
• Explore and develop technologies to improve layout design process.

Skills and Experience

• 3 to 6 years of PCB layout experience.
• Proficiency in Altium is mandatory.
• Design consideration for EMI/EMC, thermal and Mechanical performance enhancement.
• Experience with analog, digital, high speed, impedance control layout techniques.
• Experience with Board conversion and Reverse Engineering designs.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining ECAD Part libraries.
• Should have very good knowledge in IPC and UL Safety standards.
• Required good experience in DFx methodologies.
• Familiarity with CAM350 Gerber verification.
• Knowledge in Hyperlynx Signal and Power Integrity concepts and its implementation is an added advantage.
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
