Scope:

The Execution Machine Learning team works closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to design and implement the next generation of retail solutions. Data Science team members are tasked with turning both small, sparse, and massive data into actionable insights with measurable improvements to the customer bottom line. They use rigorous analysis and repeatable processes to implement both black box and interpretable models.

Our machine learning platform ingests data in real time, processes information from millions of retail items to serve deep learning models, and produces billions of predictions on a daily basis

What you’ll do:

• Develops quality software according to clean code principles and BY standards, including writing effective test cases
• Continuously improves themselves and the code they produce
• Contributes to designs of individual stories
• Design, develop, and implement front-end capabilities using ReactJS
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to software development best practices.
• Actively provides feedback during code reviews
• Autonomously plans and performs routine changes
• Independently resolves incidents around a limited set of service functions
• Identifies operational issues and brings them to the attention of the team

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree (in Computer science or related specialization) and minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software development
• Programming experience and background in React JS, Node JS, Angular JS, Design Patterns, Restful Web services, Ajax, SQL programming
• Demonstrable experience designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions (we use Azure) in AWS, Azure and or GCP
• Demonstrable experience working with microservices based architecture on Cloud at scale.
• Experience with implementation of Event driven architecture using Kafka, Spark or similar technologies
• Hands-on development skills along with architecture/design experience; should not have moved away from software development
• Demonstrable experience, thorough knowledge and interests in Cloud native architecture, Distributed micro-services, Multi-tenant SaaS solution
• and Cloud Scalability, performance and High availability
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
• Cloud Technologies: MS Azure Platform Experience
