Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development of circuit schematic for automotive product like Telematics, Motor Controller, Battery Management System, Automotive Instrument Cluster, In-vehicle Entertainment products.
• Analyse and understand Vehicle level Hardware architecture.
• Collaborate with mechanical team, layout, and firmware engineers to successfully develop and validate the hardware designs.
• Analyse and predict design performance using Simulation tools, Analytical Skills etc.
• Active Participation in Design improvement meetups. 
• Work along with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses to test the Hardware and find the Root Cause for Design failures. 

Key Requirements

• Qualification: BE/ B.Tech  or ME/M.Tech in EC/EE or related field. 
• 5+ Years of work experience on Hardware design process: schematic capture, layout, generation of design files, BOMs, and release.
• Strong knowledge of schematic design and PCB layout(multi-layer) using any EDA package such as Altium, OrCAD, KiCAD or EagleCAD.
• Strong domain knowledge in Power Circuit design and MOSFET Drive circuits, Analog and Digital design.
• Strong domain knowledge of interfacing of wireless communication module like GSM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi.
• Knowledge of interfacing of actuators like BLDC Motors and sensors using industrial protocols like CAN, RS485, RS232 etc
• Experience with Simulation tools like PSPICE, LTSPICE.
• Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of EMI/EMC standards, Surge, ESD and environmental compliances.
• Hands on testing experience using equipment like DSO, Logic Analyzer, function generator and other basic Lab equipment.
• Candidates familiar with manufacturing processes and have experience working with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses is plus.
