Role Summary

As a Devops Engineer, you will be an integral part of a DevOps team managing the daily operations of this fast-growing start-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Enable provisioning to a fast-paced dev & test team through IaC (Infra as code) actively participate in managing Build & Release activities.
• Assist in designing and managing systems for HA/DR
• Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.
• Drive automation and compliance of configuration using the relevant tooling.
• Security Hardening of cloud infrastructure application/web server against known/unknown vulnerabilities.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-code artifacts for re-use across the environments.
• Create and manage secure images  
• Proactively monitor and check for active attacks and work on prevention methods. Develop and implement steps towards ensuring a higher level of security of the systems.

Key Requirements

• Docker, AWS, Linux, Kubernete and ECS
• Prior experience provisioning and deployment in Kubernetes
• Experience API gateway and Service mesh
• Experience supporting a managed cloud services infrastructure
• Ability to maintain, monitor and optimise production database servers
• In-depth knowledge on Linux Environment.
• Designing and implementing highly efficient solutions on Pubic Cloud (Amazon Web Services) for security, resilience, performance, networking, availability, Blue-green deployments in context of business application.
• Good working knowledge of AWS services such as Messaging, Application Services, Migration Services, Cost Management Platform.
• Experience in capacity planning & design, cost and effort estimations and experience in Infra cost optimization.
