Responsibilities:

• QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in test automation using Cypress.
• Apply, design & develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks
• Experience in BDD. Execute test scripts, analyze failures, report defects & generate test execution reports
• Experience in API and GUI automation testing.
• Advanced Knowledge of OOP/OOD, Design patterns and SOLID principles. Collaborating with Product Owners and Software Developers to develop solutions. Good understanding of STLC, Testing Pyramid & SDLC.
• Basic knowledge of database like Postgres or similar.
• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
• Experience with modern tools like Git etc.
• Ability to work in team-oriented environment, and can work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 5+ years of QA/testing experience in a software development organization, of which at least 5+ years must be hands-on automation
• Experience in Test Automation Tools/Frameworks, preferably Cypress
• Good at Manual & Automation Testing
• API testing with tools such as Advanced REST client, SOAP UI or Postman.
• Strong Java knowledge
• Excellent Analytical Skills
• Knowledge in Testing Management tools like JIRA, HP-ALM and various scripting tools
• Strong Database knowledge, able to write complex SQL Queries
• Exposure to Waterfall & Agile methodologies (Scrum/Sprint) is desirable
• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational, written and verbal skills
