Job Description

This role will provide you with an opportunity to leverage your analytical abilities to enable optimal solutions in AWS. Experience with on-prem Linux engineering environment, will help create operational processes in AWS. This role will also enable you to expand your knowledge and skill level with the AWS environment.
Responsibilities:
• Configure and manage AWS environment for Infra backbone like VPC, AD, Security Groups etc…
• Build and document automation processes for Infrastructure as a Service/Infrastructure as code.
• Backup and Patch management
• Experience of networks, security, load balancers, DNS and other infrastructure components and their application to Cloud (AWS) environments.
• Interface with multiple teams (e.g., Product Development and Solution Engineers for IT design support, IT Security, Application/Database Support, Development, and Operations etc…)
• Support build of servers and manage escalated issues in the VMC environment.
• Work on initiatives and continuous improvement process around proactive systems health monitoring, reporting and technical support.

What We’re Looking For:


We are looking for someone who is/has
• University Graduate with bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in an IT role. Professional certification is a bonus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving ability along with good written and verbal communication
• A strong capacity for teamwork and a sense of ownership and able to work independently and be self-driven.
• Hands on Experience with Linux Server administration, AWS Compute services (EC2, FSX, Managed AD, Route 53, etc…) along with experience with scripting using Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Puppet and Bash
• Familiarity with ITSM processes like Incident, Problem and Change Management using ServiceNow (preferable)
