JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications:

• BE /B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control/ Electronic/ Telecommunications Engineering  from a reputed institute. 
• Experience of 1-3 years of Proposal/Proposal Experience in the fields of Industrial Automation /SCADA/Historian HMI /MIS Systems is required . 
• The Industry Domains preferred are Oil/Gas , Pharma, Chemical , Energy/Utilities  in EPC/End User or OEM Organizations dealing in similar Products and Solutions.

Job profile:

• Work with Sales to understand the customer requirements and prepare the international proposals globally.
• Analyse RFQ (Specifications) & Customer Requirements. 
• Organize Technical Kick of Meeting with sales and Operation team and define solution.
• Review of Customer RFQ to finalize the Scope of Work and BOM
• System Architecture and finalization of appropriate Historian Solution.
• Prepare table of compliance for various customer specifications with minimal help of Proposal lead and Operations.
• Collaborate and coordinate solution development, technical clarifications.
• Select appropriate solution from Emerson and AspenTech portfolio of products/solutions.
• Demonstrate technology offerings as well as project deliverables to customers and third parties for acceptance or during pre-sales phases of projects.
• Assist sales team through setting up and conducting demonstration of offering during events and roadshows.
• Cost Estimation & Optimization in line with RFQ requirements
• Prepare list of deliverables and proposal schedule.
• Track the deliverables to meet the submission deadline.
• Use Enterprise Tools with complete compliance.
• Help in identifying Risks and Mitigation plan associated with technical solution.
• Derive/Tune engineering service estimate and review with Operations.
• Prepare commercial summary for the offering in customer format.
• Co-ordinate with Procurement teams and if required work with vendors for Techno commercial offers for the third-party items as part of the Solution requirements.

Learning & Development

• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with team members. 
• Train and mentor newer engineers as well as project team members
• Help in continually improving Emerson software through review against objectives and specifications, creating improvement requests and reviewing proposed changes.
• Actively contribute towards improvement of the technical support function from Industrial Software CoE
• Participate on any organizational initiative/ project in a role as specified by supervisor or management.

 Technical skills:

• Experience with supporting sales with presale activities 
• AspenTech’s Product knowledge is preferred . 
• Adequate awareness of Virtualization, Cyber security solutions,process,Data Analytics , Asset Management systems manufacturing execution systems and planning and scheduling solutions.
• Candidates with prior Execution /Implementation experience will be preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications including MS Word, MS Excel , MS PowerPoint and Visio
