JOB PURPOSE:

To perform audits and complete audit reports by physically counting
merchandise, investigating variances or discrepancies, identifying and
accounting for shrink or overages, and adjusting inventory counts.
o Work on the daily/ weekly/monthly reports for correct inventory management.
o Retention & growth of HIPO candidate in department.
o Maintain the confidentiality of the data.
o Monitor and manage completion of required periodic audits in guidance of AM-
AP.
o Develop and maintain rapport with all departments in the club. Communicate
internally using different methods (e.g., one-on-one, e-mail, meetings, phone
calls, written documentation) to promote and maintain open communication.
o Develop AP & Audit associates and ensure the accountability in absence of AM-
AP

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

EXPECTED END RESULTS MAJOR ACTIVITIES

1. 100% adherence to compliance  Ensure 100% adherence to all the processes and guidelines laid down in

SOPs and the Audit policy
 Ensure all the store associates are compliant as per the company policy

2. Lead Inventory Operations  Ensuring that associates understand and apply safe and correct ways to
handle, move, and display goods, and does the same in own work
 To carry out the Inventory process to help improve the inventory hygiene.
 To identify poor corrective practices & develop corrective actions on the
same
 Bulk bill verification & Refund report verification on daily basis

3. Lead Audit Operations  To Help Associates understand and apply financial guidelines and related
laws and regulations when conducting audits and documenting findings
 Team handling of 5-6 associates who directly reporting.
 To properly track goods & prepare audit reports, and identify causes of
shrinkage or overage
 Ensure timely and correct cycle audits as per HO schedule
 Ensure monthly audit of Top selling items and timely report submission to
HO AP with proper analysis
 Sharing the variances finding with AMAP, Merch. Manager & SM and item
level analysis of shrink trend and suggest corrective action plan
 Maintain sign off’s from the relevant stakeholder as per SOX compliance
norms
 Work timely on daily and weekly reports with detailed analysis
 Submission of reports to store management for further actionable to
ensure timely liquidation/ clearance of aged inventory, clearance of cancelled & deleted SKUs, liquidation of less than 5
 Ensure BAM correction on daily basis for correct price sign updation and
billing correctly for member satisfaction.
 Daily analysis of receiving and claims booking
 Weekly total loss review, identify the reason of losses, implement loss
controllable measures with support of AMAP
 Implement PI of high Value and high selling items and Audit verification of
the same

4. System knowledge  Expertise in SAP system functionality on Audit modules, report fetching

and data analysis
 Identify the GAPs & issues, incorrect entries and inventory mismatch
reason and correct them with support to ISD
 Expertise in Excel & Google Sheet

5. Member Centered  To work closely with other associates to exceed associate & member

expectations
 To seek out ways to improve customer & member service
 Putting best effort to resolve pricing issue, SIN BIN issues, NOH issues for
book correction and stock availability for sale

6. Training and Development of team  Lead the team of associates who manage the audit function

 Develop a well-trained and motivated team
 Provide Training on Total Loss Awareness for store staff

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate is mandatory
Advanced knowledge in using MS Excel & PowerPoint
Google Sheet / Google form

 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
3 to 5 Years of experience in handling team
Preferably from Retail operations/Wholesale Operations/Cash and Carry Business
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS & BEHAVIOURS
Good verbal & written communication skills
Confident and presentable personality with good people management skills
Process & result oriented with multi-tasking capabilities
