What We’re Seeking

 

  • Liaises with market-facing colleagues to understand market requirements and translate them into analytic product requirements, and to engage directly with clients to discover and address analytic product adoption hurdles.
  • Develops business and technical requirements documents, including use cases and user personas that can be translated into technical specifications. Works closely with analytic development to ensure translation into accurate model specifications.
  • In partnership with P&L leaders and Product Marketing, develops long-term strategies required to capture new market opportunities and responsive tactical plans to drive awareness and analytic product adoption.
  • Works closely with product development to provide direction surrounding product functionality and analytic capability translation based on the product plan.
  • Develops and drives dissemination of thought leadership content through channels such as blogs, podcasts, and industry conference/event participation.
  • Participates in the development of content required to educate or train Sales and Sales Support staff in support of product.
  • With product management leadership, works to evaluate and develop key partner relationships with data and technology providers in support of new offering development and product delivery.
  • Collaborates with regulatory and compliance experts to ensure offerings are designed and align with relevant regulations.
  • Evaluate market opportunities, assess market maturity, determine market size and addressable market, and evaluate the competitive landscape. 
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, delivery partners, technology partners, government regulatory bodies, and industry analysts to gather inputs, prioritize opportunities, and execute and launch new Score solutions. Define and conduct voice of customer research as needed in collaboration with client-facing team.
  • Cross-functionally drive development and launch of the product from concept to delivery. Lead technical and business use case development sessions with internal FICO staff, clients and partners to drive solution requirements definition. Lead technology and analytic research efforts to drive product development activities.
  • Ensure go-to-market readiness for scores and analytic products including sales presentations, product marketing content and product documentation. Enable market-facing teams with content and tools that accelerate the selling and services processes. Trouble-shoot adoption challenges and adjust content/tools/tactics periodically to drive client adoption & market share.
  • Contribute to vision and requirements for Lender Portal, including new functionality to provide “test & learn” environment for clients to evaluate new analytic products, simulate their use, and overcome live testing reservations.
  • Reconcile conflicting priorities and tradeoffs and deliver clear unambiguous direction to the Score stakeholders.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients and distribution partners, including cultivating client references, case studies and client participation in public forums like FICO World.
  • Deliver roadmap priorities to achieve time-to-market and time-to-value targets.
  • Occasional travel domestically may be required between FICO offices as well as to client and/or partner offices.

 

What We’re Seeking

 

  • Experience in the field of Decision Management, including areas such as Predictive Analytics, Mathematical Optimization, Rules Management, Big Data Technologies highly preferred.
  • Deep domain expertise in financial services and credit risk management.
  • Experience in Product Management and/or financial services preferred.
  • Analytical and fact-based orientation, with ability to synthesize and organize complex data/information.
  • Excellent client-facing skills and demonstrated history of cultivating client success and/or referenceable clients.
  • Ability to apply past experience to develop business cases and value propositions in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to interact with and work across different internal and external functional disciplines.
  • Leadership-level communication skills, including strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering). MBA or graduate technical degree preferred.
