What You'll Contribute

Design, build and deliver cloud computing solutions, hosted services, and underlying software infrastructure.

Manage and run application servers, web servers, databases, batch jobs, file transfers and monitoring tools.

Support InfoSec scans and compliance audits.

Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments.

Share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents.

Develop and manage build packages and deployment scripts.

Develop tools and automated solutions in support of hosted services.

 

What We’re Seeking

Expertise in building Linux/Windows systems and containers on Kubernetes and standalone servers.

Advanced experience with DevOps tools for building CI/CD pipelines and executing deployments.

Skilled in administering application servers and web servers (Tomcat, JBoss, Apache).

Proficient with monitoring tools like Datadog, App Dynamics, Dynatrace and/or Splunk.

Experience with databases like SQL Server, MySQL, Cassandra and/or Hadoop.

Seasoned in AWS VPC networking and security, including subnet creation, peering setup, ACLs, VPN tunnels, CloudFormation, EC2, and other AWS networking components.

Knowledgeable with Infrastructure provisioning tools such as Docker, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and/or CloudFormation.

Proficient in key technologies, including DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, and security best practices.

Experience analyzing and resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues.

Adept in scripting using one or more programming languages (Python, Ruby, Perl, PowerShell, Bash).

Expertise with build and deploy tools (Jenkins, Maven).

Experience in systems management for high-traffic internet sites in a production environment.
