As a Systems Engineer Manager, you will manage and develop a team of systems engineers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
· Lead the strong system engineering team with 15+ people to deliver the Aerospace Mechanical Systems and Components (MS&C) Air & Thermal products such as Environmental Control System (ECS), Nitrogen Generation System (NGS) and Vapor Cycle System within the defined cost and schedule.
· Lead multiple product development project teams (system engineering, Value Engineering, System Modelling), building continuous improvement culture driving reduction in cycle time (Agile Mindset, Velocity Product Development) and cost (remove waste, standardize practices) with highest quality. Leverage organization best practices and frameworks (Agile, Honeywell Operating System).
· Build and retain talent in core (environmental control systems, nitrogen generation systems, Vapor Cycle System etc) and emerging areas (Electrification, UAM, Sustainability, Smart Connected) and drive strategic infrastructure Investments (CapEx, OpEx).
· Implement and oversee execution metrics like HMR milestones, CPI, SPI, EAC, requirements metrics, etc. for Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs).Lead and drive leadership interface reviews such as PMR, MOR, etc.
