Minimum qualifications:

• 8 years of experience working in web technologies and backend systems.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more general purpose programming languages, including Java.
• 4 years of experience working with ServiceNow Technology.
   

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
   
• 8 years of experience integrating third-party systems (compliance platforms and frameworks).
   

About the job

In this role, you will build hybrid technology solutions leveraging first and third-party systems that directly impact how regulations are managed and tracked at Google. You will provide meaningful value to our users by collaborating closely with our Product Managers/Program Managers and System Analyst partners. You'll develop requirements, define an approach, plan the development, estimate the resources required, implement the design, build unit and integration tests, ensure product quality, and develop operational guides for support engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy applications, integrations, and web services that support and change fundamental assumptions of how IT works.
• Integrate third-party products into internal systems as well as support and upgrade implemented systems.
• Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes.
• Build internal solutions with custom front-ends (web, mobile) and back-end services that automate business processes. 
• Maintain the highest levels of development practices including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code.
