Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience with sales Go-To-Market (GTM) in the information technology industry.
     
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree.
     
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or PMI (e.g., Green Belt or Black Belt).
     
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, ambiguous environment with experience taking projects from conception to launch.
     
  • Ability to Influence, communicate, and drive change cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders at all levels of management.

As the Google Cloud Vendor Management Office (VMO) Vendor Manager, you will manage vendor operations that provide critical support to the Sales organization. The team centrally manages Sales support spanning across Business Intelligence, Market Analysis, Program Management, Deal Desk and Order Management, and more. In this role, you will oversee one or more vendors globally at large scale. You will help shape and execute a scalable and customer-centric vendor strategy, own vendor relationships, and oversee vendor delivery. You will build strong and outcome based operating governance structures that ensure our vendors are delivering excellent quality of service.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the performance of the vendor operation, partnering with stakeholders from business and suppliers alike to ensure peak performance is achieved and maintained.
     
  • Partner with the business group(s) you are assigned to serve as their trusted vendor management business partner - understanding their business, translating their needs into effective vendor solutions.
     
  • Be responsible for providing end-to-end support of extended workforce onboarding activities. Act as the primary point of contact for related administrative tasks (SOW negotiations, PO management, etc.) and escalations from clients.
     
  • Maintain weekly precision on budget vs. forecast vs. actual spend and reporting accuracy, manage vendor operations.
     
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute Cloud’s Vendor Management Organisation’s strategic roadmap.
