Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience with VMware technologies (e.g. vSphere, NSX,vSAN, HCX, etc) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
  • 10 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or in a customer-facing role including working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in infrastructure modernization, such as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses.
  • Experience working in cloud migration, such as it relates to infrastructure and application modernization trends and issues within businesses.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premises-to-cloud migration deployments.
  • Ability to work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support Google Cloud field teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
  • Support the technical relationship with Google customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of any additional technical resources, including product management, engineering, and more.
  • Oversee delivery of published materials across the complete portfolio of Google Cloud solutions and use cases.
  • Help reflect the voice of the field to influence a data-driven vision and direction for Solutions and Use Case Definition at Google Cloud.
  • Partner closely with Engineering directors, Product leaders, Sales strategy, and executive leadership to ensure solutions alignment with engineering, product priorities, and GTM priorities.
