The app product team ensures to deliver an outstanding user experience to the Paytm Customers by understanding the user, discerning their use patterns, and designing an app that meets their user's needs.

About the role: Are you someone who loves to build products and also gets curious about the technology stack being used? Have you worked in technical roles at some point in your career and enjoyed them (be it software developer, engineering manager, or architect)? We are looking for Product Managers to enable the delivery of high-quality financial/payment products in a fast-paced, challenging, and creative environment. You will work with business heads and engineering partners to drive the strategy, roadmap, execution of a product area to build high-quality products/systems. As a senior product manager in the Consumer Engagement product team, your core responsibility would be to make the payments experience on Paytm app more fun and rewarding for our users. 

Expectation:

B.E/B.Tech/MBA with 5+ years of overall experience and 3+ years of Product Management experience in B2C Consumer Internet/Tech/e-Commerce space

Bring consumer first mindset and work backwards: Understand consumer pain points and business imperatives to define product roadmap and strategy

Ability to understand different technology platforms, their features and be able to work with solution architects/engineering leads and write detailed product requirement documents manage future roadmaps and deliverables

Ability to work with multiple stakeholders/senior management/cross functional teams to influence them for quicker decisions, manage certain technical roadblocks and be able to clear them

Ability to lead product team processes (agile/scrum) and manage expectations and track roadmap regularly

Superpowers that will help you succeed in this role:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science and/or related field

Professional experience in between 4-6 years in product management

Prior experience working as a software developer or experience as product managing APIs or other technical components is a huge bonus

Prior experience on working with cross functional teams (Engineering, Marketing, Growth, Design, etc.)Prior exposure to tools like Clevertap, BQ, Tableau, Amplitude/Mixpanel etc Data-driven approach with the ability to leverage data to make decisionsUser-centric development approach and deep empathy for your users

Two drivers of success in 90 days: Be an expert on data driven insights, shall be able to own 1-2 features and drive results with engineering Good sense of user-centric designs and being a voice of customer in the team
