Your Job

To design, develop and conduct training for the Molex Sales Force and licensed Molex Distributors in Japan and Korea.  Complete special projects as assigned.

Must be able to work independently and make sound business decisions.  Job is regional – Japan and Korea (APN) – in scope and very complex.  Training evaluations and in-class observations are used to determine performance, but position also requires ability to self-evaluate.  Must become knowledgeable in Molex products, other technical aspects of the business, sales, and learning and development principles.

 

What You Will Do

1. Identify and prioritize training needs for Molex GSM and our distributors.  

2. Design, develop, and deliver training programs that meet the needs of Molex GSM and our distributors.

3. Create high-quality professional training materials and reference tools.  Gather information from various Subject Matter Experts (including, but not limited to, Product Managers, Strategic Marketing, Business Unit Leaders, Mergers & Acquisitions Team, and Global Training Team members) and resource files.

4. Update existing training materials to incorporate new, modified or expanded product offerings, capabilities, or acquisitions.  

5. Translate material where necessary and adjust as needed for any regional specific needs

Evaluate course feedback and make adjustments.

6. Learn and facilitate additional programs, as needed.

7. Work with the Sales Enablement and Learning consultant to manage all pre-class and post-class communications from on-line information, invitations, surveys, and other correspondences.

8. Continuously look for ways to improve, streamline and/or adopt best practices to positively impact the experience of participants and team members.

9. As requested by the Global Sales Training Manager, develop plans that are clear and attainable (including milestones, tracking budget, deliverables, and communication plan) for assigned special projects.

10. Establish and maintain effective and productive work relationships with vendor providers.

11. Support Guiding Principles by following approved policies and procedures.

12. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

 

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Fluent communicator in the Japanese language, both verbally and written 

• Understanding of Adult Learning Principles

• Instructional Design Skills for Instructor Led Trainings, Technology Based Trainings or both

• Proficient communicator in the English language, both verbally and written 

• Ability to express ideas and exchange information clearly and concisely  

• Excellent active listening skills

• Basic understanding of business communication, layout, and design practices

• Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to influence without authority 

• Must work with a high degree of autonomy and manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent results

• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, anticipate, plan, and self-monitor workload

• Previous experience or demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

• Proficient in MSOffice suite of products
