Position Summary

Arcesium seeks a highly motivated Services Relationship Manager to join our Financial Operations team. As part of this role, you will collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges, working together to deliver top-notch solutions and services. You'll be part of a team of seasoned finance professionals dedicated to ensuring the success of Arcesium's client base. Your portfolio of clients may include hedge funds with varying trading strategies, providing you with exposure to multiple asset classes.

Responsibilities

•    Act as the primary point of contact for clients' day-to-day and month-end operations and accounting requirements, which encompass profit and loss computation, position and cash reconciliations, trade settlements, break investigation, lifecycle events, and month-end trade accounting.
•    Cultivate trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, such as Head of Ops and Accounting, and actively participate in organizing and leading regular client meetings.
•    Engage in negotiations, management, and monitoring of client service level agreements (SLAs), while closely reviewing relevant metrics.
•    Collaborate closely with international colleagues in the Financial Operations team to strategically address complex challenges faced by clients, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality service.
•    Conduct critical reviews to identify and enhance operational processes, ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining adequate controls.
•    Assist in managing client profitability by collaborating with Arcesium's Account Management and Finance team to establish, oversee, and implement client budgets on an annual basis.

Qualifications

•    7+ years of experience in operations, accounting, or client service within the hedge fund, investment management, or financial services industry.
•    Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
•    A proactive and self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, capable of multitasking and collaborating effectively in a team environment.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of client and business relationships. Demonstrated ability to escalate complex issues internally when necessary.
•    Critical thinking skills, enabling effective operation within an innovative and forward-thinking business environment.
•    Exposure to a wide range of asset classes and markets, including complex derivative instruments.
•    Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is an added advantage.

 

The expected annual base salary for this position is $135,000-$175,000. Our compensation package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401k contribution matching.
