Job Description

Are you passionate about ensuring the quality of web applications? Do you have an eagle eye for detail and a desire to contribute to a dynamic startup environment? We're looking for a Manual QA Intern to join our team and help us maintain the excellence of our web application through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes.
 

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough manual testing of our web application to identify and document software defects.
 

Report identified defects using our bug tracking system with detailed information and clear steps to reproduce.
 

Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues are resolved, and new updates do not introduce new problems.
 

Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
 

Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to ensure a shared understanding of quality requirements and timely issue resolution.
 

Assist in setting up testing environments and configuring test data as required.
 

Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in web application testing.
 

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a recent graduate.
 

Strong passion for ensuring the quality of web applications.
 

Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear issue reporting and collaboration.
 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 

Availability for the specified internship duration in Chennai

Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
