The role is within the ISRM Security Engineering team responsible for the support of Thomson Reuters security infrastructure; including Endpoint Security. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn - and provide skilled technical support -  for our current infrastructure security toolset as well as pro-active involvement in the design, testing and delivery of our future security services within the technical operations environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Working with our partners and defining and applying configurations for the services the team offers.
• Operational 3rd line support of Endpoint Security infrastructure such as Trend anti-virus, SentinelOne XDR, and Proofpoint DLP.
• Operational support includes, responding to alerts, troubleshooting root cause and problem resolution.
 
Other responsibilities will include:
•  Act as an interface with the other IT disciplines inside the larger organization, including network engineering, storage engineering, systems management engineering, and platform engineering to provide resolution of service issues.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 2 years IT experience
• Experience with, or working knowledge of anti-malware solutions
• Systems administration experience in Windows or Linux
• Excellent customer service and communication (oral / written) skills required.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• Basic Knowledge of and experience with a Linux OS distribution.
• Good understanding of basic TCP/IP principles and current LAN technology including use of system based network capture utilities.
• Knowledge of and/or experience with virtualization platforms a plus ( VMware, Hyper V)
• Scripting experience (vbscript, powershell, etc.)
