We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic Program Manager to join Phenom in Hyderabad. This role involves process management, release deliveries and program/project management. A good understanding of Agile methodology, SCRUM framework and SDLC is key. Ability to learn quickly and work on disparate and overlapping tasks will define his or her success. The Program Manager works on

projects spanning across several teams within the same function or across several functions.

  

What You’ll Do


 

  • You will lead cross-functional teams from different product experiences to deliver multiple/complex programs. You will plan and manage release schedules, anticipate project risks, and provide mitigation strategies. You will as need be provided escalation management recommending engineering trade-offs and decisions aligned with business goals/scope.
  • You will manage conflicts, cross functional dependencies, drive effective teamwork, communication and collaboration partnering across multiple product experiences with competing priorities.
  • You will identify opportunities, define, and institutionalize processes/SOP’s for accurately capturing scope, dependencies, schedule, metrics, risks for program success and effectively communicating the program status and updates/reports to all stakeholders on a
  • regular cadence.
  • You will be able to differentiate development process & release process
  • Conduct release level retrospections, and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful
  • elements for continuous improvements
  • You will need to act as Agile coach to inject best practices to Scrum Teams
  • You will work closely with DevOps to have controlled environments, Smooth deployments, etc. 


 

Work Experience


 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Overall 5-8 years of software industry experience with 3+ years of experience managing large cross-functional software projects right from inception to launch seeing the full lifecycle with a deep understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Experience providing cross-functional coordination with engineering, product and inter/intra team communications to technical and non-technical groups.
  • Experience working with tools to manage schedule, cost and risks of ongoing projects and provide reports to management.
  • Experience in working with product releases deployed on a frequent basis in SaaS Platform. Manage Release Readiness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to build strong relationships and lead and influence cross-functional and partner teams.
  • A good hands on skills in using JIRA /Confluence /Test Tracking Tools and reporting tools like Microsoft PowerBI platform is added advantage.
  • Must have experience with Agile Methodologies, SCRUM Framework, SAFe and SDLC.
  • Must be a good team player
  • Certifications on PMP, CSM, SAFe methodologies are preferable
