Job Description The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for working and collaborating with our SDLC engineering, architecture and operations teams. Key focus areas for this role are platform development, quality control , continuous improvements through process streamlining and automation, service availability, resiliency, service quality, capacity management, and cost of ownership, end-user performance, and architectural scalability. Qualifications A candidate must have knowledge of: Build and maintenance tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments. Overall DevOps skills – Experience in Jenkins Most important: Java/Python – Groovy is a nice to have Must have: Understanding of key components of a Micro-services architecture including containers, load balancing, distributed cache. – Java Spring Boot Configuring and deploying services on Linux/Unix – nice to have Experience of AWS cloud is a must or any cloud should be okay. Experience of Kubernetes is required – Any kind of container orchestration knowledge Must have written Kubernetes manifests files. Experience of terraform Openshift experience is good to have. Experience of IBM UCD is good to have. Should be very strong in troubleshooting of application server and log analysis – Infrastructure and Application logs analysis Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Ansible or an equivalent (preferred) Very good with problem solving and troubleshooting skills Additional Information Benefits of Working Here: Flexible vacation policy; time is not limited, allocated, or accrued 16 paid holidays throughout the year Generous parental leave and new parent transition program Tuition reimbursement Corporate gift matching program Pay Range : $90,000 - $175,000 The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient.
