The brand takes pride in being India's first D2C (Direct to Consumer) company, which designs, creates and sells its products directly to consumers across the country, without any middlemen. Apart from India, Lenskart now has presence in South East Asia, USA and Middle East.

We’re building Lenskart as a fashion destination for eyewear and are passionate about introducing design-led concepts and innovation that can deliver breakthrough eyewear products and experiences through our multidisciplinary Global Brand Design Studio.

 

Who are we looking for

Our Finance team is looking to hire for a senior role that will manage a combined responsibility for financial analysis, strategic planning, and communication with investors and stakeholders. This role will also manage a high performing team that will contribute to the long term success for the function and overall organization.

 

What will you be responsible for

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

Lead the development and execution of the company's financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions, resource allocation, and performance improvement initiatives.

Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and develop financial models to assess the company's financial performance and outlook.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, sales, and marketing, to gather inputs and ensure alignment between financial plans and operational goals.

 

2. Performance Management:

Establish and monitor financial and operational KPIs to track performance against targets and provide insights into business performance drivers.

Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools to enable timely and accurate performance analysis and reporting.

Conduct variance analysis and identify areas of improvement or risks to the financial plan.

Drive performance improvement initiatives by working closely with business leaders to develop action plans, set targets, and monitor progress.

 

3.Investor Relations:

Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders regarding financial performance and corporate strategy.

Develop and execute an investor relations strategy to effectively communicate the company's financial results, business strategies, and key messages to the investment community.

Prepare and present financial and operational updates for quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences, and other investor-related events.

Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to investor communications and public disclosures.

Liaison with investment bankers, investors and auditors for fund raising activities. Lead the due diligence process for fund raising activities

 

4.People Management:

Build and lead a high-performing team of financial professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.

Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, promoting continuous learning and development.

 

Job requirements

What you will bring to the role

Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certifications (such as CFA, CPA, or FP&A) may be preferred.

Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, business finance, investor relations, or a related field.

Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

In-depth understanding of financial statements, financial metrics, and performance measurement techniques.

Knowledge of investor relations principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to a variety of audiences.

Experience in managing investor relations activities, including interactions with investors, analysts, and media.

Proficiency in financial planning software, data analysis tools, and presentation software.

Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and strong organizational skills.
