Job description

In this role, the Global Head of Rewards will lead the Strategy & Operations for the Rewards function at Lenskart. This role is a critical part of the people function leadership team and reports to the Chief People Officer of the company. The role has a wide remit which includes owning the holistic rewards strategy of the company across pay, benefits, executive compensation & long term rewards for the Corporate, Retail & FOS workforce. The key stakeholders for this role would be the Co-founders, CFO, the Lenskart leadership team, the Talent Acquisition team and will also closely partner with the HR Leadership team. Build a Rewards framework that is, transparent, culture driven, inclusive, scalable globally and sustainable

 

Job requirements

● Lead the global Total Rewards team in designing, reviewing and implementing the full spectrum of compensation, benefits and wellness framework, policies and

programs that support business and people objectives

● Create a rewards approach which balances short term pay & incentives with long term value creation for employees

● Have an inclusive approach towards benefits which takes into account the diversity of the workforce across multiple dimensions

● Define a Lenskart approach which is not only dependent on market practice but clearly identifies the value proposition that is unique to the company and driven by

the company culture

● Understand benefits compliance applicable to government regulations and advise on compliance testing and audit procedures

● Have a robust understanding of Long Term Incentive (Equity and Cash Linked) plans to help align leadership actions towards long term company goals

● Build and review Manpower Annual Operating plan for non-linear roles across Departments linked to industry productivity norms

● Create a culture of development through interventions linked to continuous performance reviews, feedback and growth oriented frameworks

● Have a data driven approach towards decision making and drive a comprehensive and sustainable rewards plan with strong analytics

● Strong business partnership to help identify the issues impacting the ability to attract & retain the right talent and create the right solutions to address these challenges

● Understand different talent markets and ensure there is an appropriate framework to address market nuances where needed

● Inspiring leadership for the function and investing in the organisational health of the function

● Strong communication to help drive the vision with the team and manage internal & external partnerships

● Focus on capability building within the function and ensuring high talent density

● Build deep partnership with cross functional partners across Finance, Technology and HR to drive an aligned agenda

● Use data and technology to create an agile organization and drive better decisions You are someone who is

● Expert hands-on knowledge and experience in a senior compensation and benefits role at a global level, with the ability to develop, implement and drive major total

rewards initiatives

● Has demonstrated excellence in strategic thought leadership, stakeholder management, change management and effective collaboration across the

organisation

● Excellent interpersonal relationship and partnership skills. Previous experience working directly with senior management with the ability to influence change is

highly desired

● Demonstrated ability in prioritising and making tough choices amongst multiple and/or conflicting priorities

● Strong leadership management skills in leading and motivating teams, setting priorities and delivering organisation commitments

● Strong project management skills with track record leading complex regional/global projects from end to end

● Confident taking a data-driven approach and present to senior management

● Values agility for the “here & now” but also builds with a future focussed mindset. A problem solving & curious mindset

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong focus on delivering impact as well as outcomes for internal stakeholders

● Loves to build the culture and hires strongly for it
● Has an openness towards innovative & radical thinking, willing to challenge and change traditional processes to cater to the evolving talent market
● Had experience of working a diverse set of markets and has some regional/global experience

This form is not for inquiring about a position or the status of an application.   Global Payroll Analyst (Gurgaon) The US Payroll Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of multi-state payroll functions in preparation, transmit, and reconciliation of US Payroll. You will ensure Payroll is processed with speed, accuracy, and timeliness verifying compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. You will serve as liaison to internal customers and partners as well as external vendors to guarantee Payroll processing accurately reflects company-specific pay policies. You must be able to connect and combine large volumes of data from a variety of sources, interact, filter and mine data to share insights and ensure a compliant payroll. Knowledge of US labor and employment tax regulations, Federal and State Tax legislation, and the ability to process tax adjustments, W-2s, W-2C’s is critical.     What you’ll do:   Prepare and facilitate payroll transmit (load files, time entry, pre-audits, actual transmit, post-audits, etc.) following established controls. The payrolls include both on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls including, but not limited to, stock, annual bonus, and year-end processing Perform data uploads for all payroll periods including bi-weekly, stock, annual bonus, adjustments, and year-end Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are reported accurately and timely. Maintain the Payroll processing checklist, reviewing, and making appropriate updates. Reconcile and audit various payroll-related activities and investigate variances Manage relocation imputed income processes Assist the Global Mobility team with compensation collection with regards to tax preparation Partner closely with corporate accounting & tax to ensure accurate GL & tax reporting Complete post payroll audits and reporting, prepare metrics and track errors using technology and reporting tools Respond to and assist employees with inquiries and questions in a timely manner Recognize and adhere to proper segregation of duties, Sarbanes-Oxley controls, and internal self-audits     Who you are: 3-5 years payroll administration experience in a complex international organization for a large single country or multiple country payroll processing American Payroll Association CPP or FPC preferred, but not required Prior experience with Workday Payroll preferred, but not required Working knowledge of US legislation and labor law regulations Strong understanding of US Payroll processing, Tax, Social Insurance, Employment Law Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven analytical and trouble shooting skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure Intermediate use of Excel   #L1-SO1   About Expedia Group Expedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE) powers travel for everyone, everywhere through our global platform.
