Sr. Analyst – CX Insights & Analytics
Empower India Marketing team is looking for an Sr. Analyst who can generate in-depth analysis on internal and external data, with a Customer Experience lens. This role is part of the CX insights & Analytics team that focuses on educating the organization on bridging gaps in customer journeys and behaviors. These gaps are identified by data deep dives that can cover a variety of topics and themes and are used for thought leadership which is published for public consumption, creating marketing proof points for client consumption and for internal decision making.
As Empower increases its focus on ‘retail business’ (EPW), the team is getting involved in new analyses that have an impact on EPW business apart from Workplace business.
With a lot of unexplored areas and increasing appetite within the organization to understand customer better through data, CX insights & Analytics team is taking up projects involving deep dives through EDA, modelling and most importantly answer business questions that have a direct impact on emerging business areas.
With a mandate to look for new insights, this role offers a lot of opportunities for team members to try new things and apply creative problem solving.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand the business problem and convert it to an analytical problem.
- Understand the data need, collect, interpret, and clean the data for analyses.
- Produce meaningful insights using Data Interpretation methodologies and justify the results given business context.
- Analyze data from different source or customer touch points and join/integrate/ transform data meaningfully to enable the analyses.
- Suggest and run meaningful cross-tabulations based on business context.
- Correlate, juxtapose and interpret trends, link usage and experience data from across sources, meaningfully.
- Able to present the analysis and results to the business stakeholders.
- Generate dashboards and automate them when required.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Qualification:
- Graduate / Post-graduate degree in Business Management/Statistics/Economics/Finance
- 4-8 years of experience working in analytics, research/ insights functions, or related experience
- Good understanding of statistical concepts and Descriptive analytics; and some exposure to Predictive analytics
- Hands-on experience with querying/ statistical packages like SAS, SQL, Python
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
- Ability to integrate data (internal/external) and connect dots between more than one data sources (e.g., Survey and Transaction data for a touchpoint)
- Attention to detail, and ability to pick up new technologies and statistical techniques in analytics.
- Working experience with tools such as Google Analytics/ Adobe Analytics preferred but not mandatory.
Required skills and competencies:
- Strong analytical skills to be able to understand the business problem, collect and analyze the data and able to interpret the results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skill and be able to present the results to the senior stakeholders.
- Comfort with dealing in ambiguous business problems and aiding in providing structure to the problem.
- Self-motivation, excellent accountability and ownership skills
- Excellent team player, with proven expertise to work across competencies/teams.
