JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description: SAD - Finance and Accounting Managed Services Position Overview: KPMG India is seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional for the role of SAD in the Finance and Accounting Managed Services division. As a SAD you will be responsible for leading a team of finance and accounting professionals, managing client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. This position requires extensive knowledge and expertise in finance, accounting, and managing complex engagements. Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage finance and accounting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and client satisfaction. 2. Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise in finance and accounting domain to project teams, stakeholders, and clients. 3. Develop and implement project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling, while adhering to project management best practices. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to identify project requirements, dependencies, and potential risks. 5. Conduct project assessments, including feasibility studies, gap analysis, and risk assessments, and provide recommendations for improvement. 6. Oversee the implementation of financial systems, tools, and technologies, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business processes. 7. Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in finance and accounting, and provide thought leadership to the organization. 8. Mentor and develop a team of project managers and professionals, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation. 9. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness. 10. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, build strong relationships, and identify opportunities for additional service offerings. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA, CFA) is preferred. 2. Extensive experience (minimum 16+ years) in finance and accounting project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. 3. Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements. 4. Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. 5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of professionals. 6. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. 7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members. 8. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. 9. Knowledge of emerging technologies in finance and accounting, such as robotic process automation (RPA) and data analytics, is highly desirable. 10. Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus.
