Your new role – exciting and future oriented

  • One of the key responsibilities of the Advantedge Services team is to architect and implement solutions to manage DISW services knowledge, and applications to leverage this knowledge during project execution to ensure consistent, high-quality project deliverables.
  • Your role, as a Polarion Product Architect will encompass all aspects of Advantedge Systems, wherein you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of all solutions deployed leveraging Siemens Polarion Platform.
  • You will work collaboratively with Product Owners, Solution Architect(s), Project Manager, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
  • You will translate requirements into specific technical solutions, align the solutions with product capabilities and roadmap, leverage industry and Siemens best practices to architect & design solutions.
  • You will collaborate with Agile teams to install, configure, test, and deploy Polarion-based solutions. You will conduct design reviews, code reviews, review configuration management practices, technical and user documentation, deployment readiness, and reports.
  • You will provide oversight to ensure that all required functional/non-functional/integration and systems testing activities, and as required, migration activities are conducted to deliver a high-quality solution to users.
  • You will collaborate with Cloud engineering and operations teams to assess the deployment architecture and infrastructure design meets the system, performance, security, and scalability requirements.
  • You will establish strong networks with product development and support organizations to leverage product insights, roadmap, and best practices as well as to share feedback, raise requests and convey requirements from the user community.
  • Your role to engage as a trusted advisor within our organization will lead you to interact with senior leaders and drive critical business decisions. You will be part of global initiatives that are aimed at shaping future processes and systems.

We are not looking for superheroes, just super minds

  • You are a Graduate / Post-Graduate (Bachelors/Masters) in Engineering with 10 to 12 years of experience in the IT services and consulting domain.
  • With an engineer’s background you have passion for seeking improvements, you love working with people and enjoy collaborating in international, diverse teams.
  • You have experience in projects involving Siemens Polarion Platform and have a good understanding of how Polarion addresses customer’s business needs. Your understanding of Polarion includes various templates including Agile and SAFe templates, integrations with other platforms such as Teamcenter, JIRA etc.
  • If you have similar work experience with other competitive solutions such as JIRA, IBM Rational DOORS, or other Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions, your candidature will be considered.
  • You have extensive experience with software configuration management tools such as Git, SVN and working experience with Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, Webservices incl. RESTful webservices.
  • You are an Agile / SAFe practitioner with good understanding of Agile methods, tools and DevOps.
  • You demonstrate a thorough, professional know-how in Technical and Systems Architecting, based on practical experience including a good understanding of architectural practices, patterns, and standards.
  • You have experience in designing, deploying and operating Polarion-based solutions on cloud and have the ability to interact with and guide Cloud operations teams.
  • You're a self-starter with ability to operate independently & bring-in collective experience within DISW to develop solutions for complex problems while going the last mile and encouraging others to follow.
  • You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a variety of teams globally across hierarchies combined with significant experience presenting complex technical concepts and solutions to senior leaders.
