Engineer – Controls :–  Technically involved in design, development, testing and implementation of PLC Based Automation System, including Hardware and Software modules.

Your new role – challenging and future oriented

·       Engineer for PLC Controls, Automation

·       Involvement in design, development, testing and commissioning of PLC Based Automation System, including Hardware and Software modules

·       Involvement in Selection of Software platform, tools, suites, including sizing and optimizing

·       Technical support to the site execution team for installation, commissioning and testing

·       On site testing and commissioning for baggage handling system

·       High performance team member and delivering quality projects, products.

·       Primary point of contact for assigned report on scope, schedule, deliverables

·       Travelling to Site for implementation and to meet Customer
 

Skills Required

·       Degree in Instrumentation / Control / Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering.

·       Minimum 2 – 4 years of Experience in PLC Controls, Automation

·       Experience in Design, Development, Commissioning and Testing of small, mid and big size Automation System

·       Experience in PLC Software programming – Step 7 and/or TIA

·       Knowledge in SCADA and plant visualization systems and software

·       Experience in Interfaces like PLC – IT, PLC – other Control systems etc.

·       Well conversant with India and International Standards

·       PLC and peripheral products knowledge

·       Good communication and presentation skills

·       Experience in Baggage, Material Handling System is an added advantage

·       Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in software implementation and technologies, version management

·       Oral and written communications skills must be excellent, in English

·       Ability to travel internationally and/or domestically

·       Fluency in English

Your new role - exciting and future-oriented: • Engineering support for the preparation of technical documentation of steam turbine outages for the installed fleet worldwide. This includes analysing global fleet experience, technical instructions, and recommendations. • Review unit-specific Product Change Management (PCM) data, record action points, and incorporate them into future outage plans. • Coordinating and consulting with Subject Matter Experts globally to compile OEM fleet experiences and specific recommendations for inclusion in unit-specific outage plans. • Support field service team with technical clarifications and relevant documentation during scheduled steam turbine maintenance, including periodic inspections and forced outages. • Effectively support unit data management and data upgrade/revision in engineering databases.   We don’t need superheroes, just super minds: • Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in engineering or related technical field from a reputed institute. • 5 to 8 years of experience in engineering support to Steam Turbine outages and maintenance. • Familiarity of power plants and general understanding of steam turbines, valves, bearings, associated components like condenser, seal steam system, lube oil system, drain system and other auxiliaries. • General understanding of scheduled steam turbine maintenance, including periodic inspections like minor, medium and major outages is considered an added advantage. • Experience with SAP, Teamcenter or other data management systems. • Effective communication skills (verbal, written and listening), a strong sense of teamwork and customer focus. • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance is essential. • Ability to interface directly with customer, field, factory personnel and management. • Ability to make quick, informed decisions on a regular basis. • Ability to manage multiple field issues / projects and meet deadlines.
