Boeing Information Technology & Data Analytics, is currently looking for an Experienced Programmer Analyst to join their team in Bengaluru, India. This position will align to Supply Chain Systems IT and focus on supporting the Boeing Supply Chain business teams.

A successful candidate will be an experienced programmer trained with superior Microsoft .NET skills. Candidate must be willing to learn new methodology, tools, systems and software development disciplines, as well as have a strong interest and passion for coaching and sharing knowledge. This position will be part of a high performing Product team and reporting to the Information Technology Manager.


­Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, deployment and support of Enterprise Web Applications, both on premise and Cloud platform
  • Provide assistance to design, program and execute test plans
  • Implements, documents and maintains routine computing applications and software
  • Assists in gathering and evaluating end user requirements
  • Writes and compiles routine code and constructs routine database objects based on documented design
  • Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality
  • Documents, validates and researches reported problems and assists in developing user training
  • Product support: Operations (Incidents/Break-fix), Security & Compliance, Technology Upgrade/Modernization
  • Product development: New application development, Enhancements and Change requests
  • Product Roadmap: Integration with ERP, Application consolidation/extensions/retirement etc.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 4+ years of experience in development, implementation and support of small and/or large-scale Software applications
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience working on C#, Visual Basic, JavaScript, Node.js; .NET Framework: ASP.Net, ASP.NET Core; UI Framework: Angular, React; Cloud: Azure or AWS or PCF; Databases: Oracle, SQL Server; SharePoint Framework: SharePoint 2013/2016
  • Experience using Agile Methodologies - SAFe, SCRUM etc.
  • Software development/support skills include: designing, documenting, coding, user training, testing, and maintaining software computing applications
  • Candidate will work with internal business partners and product owners to deliver products/applications that delight end users
  • Strong communication skills will be required to succeed in this job;
  • Work with Product manager, Systems/Data Analysts and UX designer to define application requirements and usability
  • Knowledge: Apply extensive job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts to deliver projects
  • Problem Solving: Provide technical solutions and implementations to complex problems that require ingenuity and creativity
  • Discretion: Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment
  • Superior programming skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense, Supply Chain domain
  • Microsoft or other related Technical Certifications

Gather test requirements, instrumentation and configuration definition, develop test procedures, design and analyze test fixtures, lead in the fabrication and setup of the tests, and lead in the test conduct phase. Knowledge on Aerospace Environmental Testing such as thermal testing, vibration test and others per RTCA DO-160/MIL-810G Participate in data acquisition activities during tests, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection using various sensors and data acquisition systems. Help in analyzing test data and interpreting results to assess the performance and integrity of components and systems. General knowledge and proficiency in the operation, integration, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of test equipment. General knowledge across a wide range of environmental effects and electronic, electrical, software engineering disciplines. Support development of test debrief material. Perform special test procedures as required to support failure investigation. Design support for component and sub-assembly level hardware or software as specified by the Statement of Work. Review standards and regulations to assess the impact on the test plan. Prepare test configuration work instructions and detailed change orders. Coordinate the staging of test hardware. Participate in test readiness reviews, safety reviews and data/control systems checkout to minimize risk. Support equipment maintenance, calibrations and system check-out/validation to satisfy test requirements. Use knowledge in structural design, CAD systems, and analysis concepts, including test techniques and advanced hydraulic operations to design test fixtures and organize test operations. Exhibit a high degree of mechanical aptitude, which includes an understanding of 2D design drawings and manufacturability, producibility and reliability of test hardware designs. Familiar with regulatory framework (DO-160 and Mil-Spec), for warranting safety and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with the business partner, team members, shop (touch-labor) personnel, and other support personnel Conduct research in test technologies to improve lab efficiency and capability Help to lead in the current and future direction of the Boeing Structures Testing capability across the Boeing Enterprise. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Knowledge of CAD Tools (CATIA, Unigraphics/NX) for Modeling, Drafting, Model Based Definition and PLM software (Enovia, Teamcenter). Hands on experience in Aerospace Environmental Testing such as thermal testing, vibration test and others per RTCA DO-160/MIL-810G Experience with testing, writing test plans, conducting tests, and writing test reports. Experience with the Test Engineering lifecycle: requirements, test design, test documentation/reporting and test execution. Experience in designing test setup, implementing and conducting structural or mechanical lab testing Experience with instrumentation and/or data acquisition systems, measurement devices, and sensor selection. Experience with lab hydraulic control and power systems:  servos, actuators, load cylinders, manifolds Experience with sensors including accelerometers, strain gages, thermocouples, load cells, and LVDT devices. Possess knowledge of aircraft structure, materials strengths and properties, design criteria, loading conditions, and processes. Knowledge of DO-160 certification requirements, creation of Qualification Plans, procedure and processes is a plus. Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English.
