This position will be located in the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center, Bangalore, India.
Position Responsibilities:
- The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Supply Chain Functional Analyst to join Demand to Plan Work Stream team within Supply Chain Systems. In this role you will develop, perform analysis and research of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design
- Responsible for Requirement gathering, Document preparation, End-to-End Solution design, Functional Spec preparation, Realization and Deployment
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to improve current systems
- Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; build and update associated documentation
- Translating Functional Specifications into Application design documents, co-ordination with development team, testing of new functionality or Improvements, Prepare Test plans and Test scripts, Perform Unit tests and integration tests
- Develop, review and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners
- Participate in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues
- Should have prior experience in implementation and/or support of advanced planning systems like SAP SPP, PTC’s SPM, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder(JDA), i2, Baxter etc.
- Should have very good knowledge on statistical forecast models, Multi Echelon Inventory Optimization and Supply & Distribution planning for a discrete manufacturing industry.
- Should have good data analysis skill
- Should have a good knowledge on use of Excel and Visio.
- Sound knowledge of external planning system integration with SAP and other third-party systems.
- Exposure to usage of SAP Solution Manager
- Some knowledge of SAP module specific User exits, batch jobs from an integration perspective.
- Ability to handle and lead the development of improvement objects independently in collaboration with Development team.
- Knowledge and Experience of Agile (SAFe) development methods
- Solid understanding and experience of testing tools.
- Understanding of business functionalities in Aerospace and Defense industry
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- At least 8-12 years of overall experience with business experience in Planning and should have 8+ of years’ experience in Demand, Inventory and supply optimization Consulting and Implementation Experience with at least 1 E2E full life cycle implementation in Advanced planning systems like SAP SPP, PTC’s SPM, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder(JDA), i2, Baxter etc.
- Proven experience in Demand Forecasting, Inventory Optimization and Supply and distribution planning in large and complex business environments, with at least one end to end implementation integration with SAP or other large ERP systems.
- Sound knowledge of Forecasting, Inventory and Supply planning, MPS / MRP (Configuration and Integration with Procurement, Sales), Planning strategies, MRP Areas, WBS elements, ECM, MTO, Master data - Material Master MRP views, Bill of Materials, Work centers Routings, Production versions.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Typically, 8-12 years of related work experience or relevant military experience with Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred but not required.
