You will be providing a vital contribution to PepsiCo’s Global Transformation initiatives related to Enterprise Voice Capabilities (Cloud PBX, Session Border Controllers (SBC), Contact Center capabilities (Genesys & Cisco), and PepsiCo’s journey to modernize the Voice Foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Build a secure, stable, and modern infrastructure to define enterprise technology standards, facilitate leverage and reuse, and ensure successful delivery of global Voice Services across the enterprise.
  • You will drive standardization and simplification across the existing environments and develop roadmaps to reduce the overall total cost of ownership (TCO) for the function.
  • Development, refinement, publishing, and socialization of patterns, policies, and guidelines, and technology standards
  • Provides exceptional technical and/or analytical support in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems of moderate to highly complex business communication systems.

  • Provide guidance and recommendations to the Infrastructure Architecture teams on standards and designs.

Qualifications

  • In depth experience around driving complex engineering projects and supporting enterprise-class voice and unified communication services.
  • Proven experience with PSTN infrastructure components like Cisco Voice cloud, Voice over IP (VoIP) gateways, Session Boarder Controllers (SBC), SIP Trunking, POTS, ISDN etc
  • Comprehensive and in-depth understanding of voice, video and unified communication concepts and procedures. Possesses broad knowledge of concepts in order to resolve issues impacting other areas.
  • Basic understanding of WAN technologies and QOS
  • Experience with Oracle SBCs, Cisco Call Manager, UCCX, Unity Voicemail systems
  • Able to support migration of legacy infrastructure to Cloud PBX and Contact center services.
  • Experience in Designing, implementing, and testing for Zoom, and Microsoft Teams for Telephony Service.
  • Hands-on implementation and working with other teams and vendors to configure network connectivity and other requirements.
  • Experience working in a global environment with stakeholders across multiple geographies.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of translating strategies into plans that can be effectively executed. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline; 7+ years’ experience with Voice, engineering management, and familiarity with a broad range of collaboration technologies
