Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Sourcing Consultant

Summary:

The Senior Sourcing Consultant is responsible for leading and managing the sourcing process for indirect procurement categories within the Building & Occupancy (B&O) function. This includes developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in indirect procurement, with a strong understanding of B&O categories.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories within B&O
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships.
  • Conduct market research and analysis.
  • Develop and implement supplier performance management programs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement procurement opportunities.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Lead and manage spend categories, develop strategies and negotiate contract for products, services, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to category saving targets for multiple categories and supplier performance.
  • Review and analyze contract data, business goals and market conditions to identify cost saving opportunities.
  • Determine deal strategy and control all aspects of contract negotiations and cost-effective supplier assessments.
  • Manage entire lease process from origination to final execution ensuring all required documents are received, filed, and executed.
  • Maintain all lease administration systems and prepare all lease agreements and related contractual documents ensuring are in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to ensure appropriate language is used to achieve final lease documents.
  • Lead projects and mentor less experienced staff
  • Research and respond to internal or external inquiries.
  • Should be able to work on shifts as required.

 

Required Qualifications, US, International:

  • 12-15 years of experience in indirect procurement
  • Strong understanding of B&O categories
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
