Job Description

  • Assign and manage project assignments and adjust assignments based on skill sets, project requirement
  • Develop Goals / KPI of the team members based on organization and department
  • Collaborate with associates to define action plan and document individual career development plan
  • Mentor, Guide team members and Review the projects and provide technical guidance to the team
  • Address any employee issues and serve as advocate with HR/ middle management
  • Experience in working on Li Ion battery and have knowledge of Battery Pack Design and BMS design
  • Good understanding of New Product Development process and hands on experience in NPD
  • Good understanding of standards like AIS 038/048/156, IEC 62660, IEC 60068, UL2580/2271, UN 38.3
  • Support and participating on New Acquisitions and front-end customer discussion
  • Lead innovation, new ideas topics within the team and encourage team members to bring innovative ideas while designing product
  • Should be able to work on multiple projects, guide and mentor design engineer from technical aspect of the project

Additional Information

  • Prior knowledge of handling Battery Pack Design components, electrical components, BMS topic is preferred
  • Experience in systems / requirements engineering for Battery
  • Good understanding of New Product Development Process
  • Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss issues / solutions with team and external customer
  • Flexible, willing to travel and participate for customer, vendor interactions

Role:3: Electrical & Functional Safety Define Electrical Architecture for Battery Pack. Defining System Functions. Design HV & LV Wiring Harness. Design for Battery Pack. Defining Power distribution. Defining DVP Requirements. Defines functional safety requirements within the project. Carries out design analysis to support the development of safety. Role:4: Prototyping & Industrialization Prototyping of Battery Pack for EV. Interaction and follow up with suppliers to decide of special materials used in the battery pack. Coordinate with R&D for NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT. Experience in Hard-fiber or Plastic Development.  Role:5: BMS Design and development of BMS functions in MATLAB. Based on IEC 61499 standard, the build-time is an integral part of EcoStruxure Automation Expert, providing hardware agnostic, event-driven, low-code control programming ecosystem for automation engineers.
